Worker Housing in nicaragua.

empowering lives.

one home at a time

In Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua, many coffee laborers face a reality far different from the coffee farms we see. After long days of hard work, they return to homes with leaky roofs and dirt floors, conditions that don’t reflect the value of their labor.

We’re working to change that, because when workers have safe, stable homes, they gain the dignity and security they need to thrive, strengthening their families and communities.

living conditions.

For too many farm workers, harsh living conditions remain an urgent challenge we cannot ignore. We believe the quality of our coffee must reflect the quality of life for the people who make it possible.

In partnership with coffee farmer Jorge Lagos, we’re proud to support a groundbreaking project that directly improves living conditions for the families who labor in his fields. Together, we’re investing in brighter futures for the people behind every harvest, ensuring that the care and excellence in our coffee starts with care and respect for those who grow it.

86 farmworker homes.

Since 2017, alongside our committed partner, we have transformed 86 vulnerable homes in Nicaragua, turning fragile shelters into secure, dignified spaces where families can thrive.

This is more than home repair; it’s a lifeline restoring hope, pride, and resilience to entire communities. Together, we’ve delivered over 400 bags of cement, 200 sheets of roofing, 40 durable front doors, and more than 10 tons of critical building materials, each piece a building block in the foundation of new beginnings.

And we’re not stopping. The journey to rebuild lives, restore futures, and strengthen communities continues, one home at a time.
