medium roast
Tasting notes: Tangerine, Grapefruit, Caramel, Sweet
Our latest release showcases the boldest flavors yet, a tribute to the dedicated farmers of the Native Reservation of El Paramo. This exceptional coffee is crafted from two varietals - Caturra and Castillo - and originates from a select group of 19 farmers within the larger Aponte cooperative in Colombia. While we've long collaborated with this co-op, focusing on these 19 farmers allows us to build direct relationships, enhancing both transparency and impact.
Situated just east of the southern city of Pasto, this high-altitude region is home to our dedicated farmer partners, who cultivate their craft under the expert guidance of our origin partner, Jose Gomez. Their unwavering commitment produces a coffee with bright notes of tangerine, grapefruit, caramel, and delicate sweetness—a true reflection of the rich terroir shaped by towering mountain ranges. It’s no surprise that El Paramo is considered among the finest coffees in the world.
