how we source our coffee
While coffee is a great business, there is an unfortunate aspect: the labor of millions of farm workers is undervalued, leaving them and their families in poverty. We developed Social Project Coffee to make coffee sourcing more equitable.
Coffee shops produce an enormous amount of waste that ends up in landfills, because most disposable coffee cups can't be recycled or composted. Unlike the vast majority of coffee shops, Think Coffee only uses single-use products that are compostable.
We believe that coffee tastes better when it gives back, so for every coffee we import, we fund and operate a social project that benefits the farming community.

Our employees are hard working New Yorkers concerned about their local community. A percentage of each sale they ring up goes to a nonprofit that they have selected. We are proud of each great cup they serve, but are equally proud of how they give back to the city they love.
