Mix — Add 17g medium-fine coffee grounds to the AeroPress. Pour in 250g hot water (195-205°F.)

Add coffee — Put 1 heaping tablespoon of coarse-ground coffee per 8 oz cup into the press.

Add water — Pour in hot water (just off the boil), filling to the top.

Stir & steep — Give it a quick stir, put the lid on (plunger up), and let it steep for 4 minutes.

Press — Push the plunger down slowly and steadily.

Add coffee — Use about 1 tablespoon of medium-coarse ground coffee per 5 oz cup.

Bloom — Pour just enough hot water (just off the boil) to saturate the grounds. Wait 30 seconds.

Pour — Slowly pour water in a spiral over the grounds, pausing to let it drain between pours. Stop when you've added the right amount.

Serve — Remove the filter and enjoy. Chemex coffee is clean and bright — best fresh.
